Mental health coaching in Uganda, in person and online.

One-to-one coaching for professionals who are carrying too much — in Kampala, or online from anywhere in Uganda and across Africa. Start with a free 20-minute consultation.

What is mental health coaching?

Mental health coaching is a structured, confidential conversation about how you are really doing — and what you want to change. Together we look at what is draining you, what helps you feel steady, and the practical steps that fit your work and your life.

At InnerSprings, coaching is grounded in evidence, not guesswork. Sessions combine space to talk things through with practical tools you can use between sessions: ways to manage pressure, set boundaries, rest properly and respond to difficult moments differently.

Coaching or therapy?

Coaching focuses on your wellbeing, your work and the changes you want to make now. It does not diagnose or treat mental illness. If what you are going through needs a psychologist, counsellor or doctor, we will talk about that openly in your consultation and help you think about where to turn.

Is coaching right for you?

You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support. People often come to coaching when they notice that something has to change.

You feel overwhelmed at work

The workload, the pressure or the pace has become too much to carry the way you are carrying it.

You can’t switch off

Work follows you into your evenings, your weekends and your sleep.

You’re facing a big change

A new role, a promotion, leading a team for the first time, or returning to work after time away.

You carry other people’s pain

Your work means supporting people through hard moments, and some of that weight has become yours.

Coaching in Kampala and across Uganda

In-person sessions take place in Kampala. Online sessions by video mean you can work with us from Entebbe, Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu or anywhere else in Uganda — and from elsewhere in Africa — as long as you have a private space and a stable connection.

We work with professionals in NGOs and humanitarian organisations, finance and revenue, healthcare, corporate teams, and executives and founders: people in high-pressure work who are expected to hold everything together.

Questions about mental health coaching

How is mental health coaching different from therapy?

Coaching focuses on your wellbeing, work and the practical changes you want to make. It doesn’t diagnose or treat mental illness. If you need clinical support from a psychologist, counsellor or doctor, we will talk about it openly and help you think about where to turn.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. What you share in coaching stays confidential.

Can I have sessions online?

Yes. Sessions are available in person in Kampala or online by video, so you can join from anywhere in Uganda or across Africa.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you want to work on. We agree a plan together at the start and review it as you go, so you always know why you’re coming back.

What happens in the free consultation?

It’s a relaxed 20-minute conversation. You tell us what’s been going on, we explain how coaching works, and together we decide whether it’s the right support for you. Book it here.

What if I’m in crisis?

Coaching is not an emergency service. If you are thinking about harming yourself or feel unsafe, please contact emergency services or go to the nearest hospital now, and reach out to someone you trust.
